The DA will be required to work in the following areas:
Data Quality Audit: Support data audit activities at the state and facility levels, reviewing source documents and validating data. The DA is expected to support the routine data quality audits, to expand the overall DQA coverage.
Archival and filing of Source Documents: Support the archival of source documents at the state and regional offices.
Support Management of Data Capturing Tools: Track issuance and use of all data collection tools (DCTs) at different levels.
Support Stock Consumption Reconciliation: Ensure Commodity Consumption Reconciliation for all channels is done promptly.
Support Capacity Building: Support training and capacity building on data collection tools for service providers and team members and provide on-the-job mentoring and capacity building at different levels.
Support other relevant tasks: The DA will conduct In-reach monitoring, support performance reviews and reports, and other assigned tasks.
Deliverables
The DA shall be expected to return a minimum of the following deliverables monthly:
· Support data audit activities at the state and facility levels, reviewing source documents and validating data.
· Dissemination of data review and audit findings
· Support the archival of source documents at the state and regional offices.
· Track all data management tools sent to each SDP for timely dispatch and ensure zero stock out.
· Commodity usage verification and reconciliation at facility level
· Support the RMEO during training of service providers in their respective states.
· Support stock count at Regional and state offices.
· Support training activities
· Conduct Monitoring of In-reaches at service delivery points
· Support monthly data review and ensure zero errors for all data reported.
· Support monthly and other routine reports.
Duration of Work
Reporting
· The DA will work under the supervision of the Regional Research Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
The DA shall possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Statistics, Computer Science, or any other relevant field, with a minimum of one year of experience working on health information systems for either government or non-governmental organizations.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, ODK/Kobo Collect & DHIS 2 will be an advantage.
Good written and communication skills.
An active team player, with the ability to work with a diverse team.
Must have a good understanding of the terrain and the local language of the communities.
