POSITION: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER 
LOCATION: RIVERS  

OBJECTIVES: 
We are looking for a dynamic sales leader who will lead a team of Sales Representatives to 
achieve sales, profitability, growth, coverage and distribution objectives within the 
assigned territory and/or market segment.  


OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES: 
o Achieve set monthly Social Marketing objectives in volume and value for assigned region.  
o Achieve key Sales operation metrics on a weekly basis. 
o Coach and develop Sales Reps to ensure improved Selling skills and productivity. 
o Good distributor management skills and engages the distributor managers on proactive ways to 
grow the business within the region.  
o Lead the use of SFA to drive Sales Rep productivity on relevant metrics.  
o Leverage SFA to drive quality and improved output by the team . 
o Leads the team to implement flawlessly all the sales and marketing activities as communicated. 
o Drives improved enlistment of new distributors to the business and ensures product availability 
in most accounts leveraging the Sales Reps. 
o Manages key relationships for key customers, influencers, and decision makers in territory.  
o Reports always and monthly market intelligence report for competition.  
o Regularly cascades customer feedback to the Director of Social Marketing and as regards best 
practice on how to grow the business.  
o Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.  

o Ensures timely submission of all reports as expected from your line manager and Social 
Marketing leadership

o MSIN resource management: ensure efficient and 
effective utilization of MSIN allocated resources and deliver high return on investment on all 
highlighted areas.  
o Efficient management of Sales Rep expenses and a business leader who will always track ROI. 
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
o A university degree in Pharmaceutical or any of the Biological /Physiological sciences.  
o Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sales management experience with the Pharma /FMCG 
landscape  
o Good industry contact and network within the designated region.  
o Good commercial skills with ability to drive efficiency and effectiveness on key commercial 
fundamentals  
o A self-starter with uncanny ability to surmount challenges  
o A problem solver who is ready to go the extra mile.  
o Excellent oral and written communication skills   
o A valid driver’s license.
